So before I go for my run this morning I decided to weigh and measure myself.
Weight: 272
Neck: 17
Belly: 46
Waist: 40
That's odd seeing as how I wear size 38 pants and they're a little loose. Maybe they've stretched out. :(
So as I mentioned in my post yesterday, I'm trying to challenge myself everyday. I haven't ran in almost 2 months probably. Just haven't felt like doing it I guess. So my challenge today was to get up early enough that I can go for a run before I go to work. I have to be at work at 11, so I woke up at 7am so I should have plenty of time.
[Post Run Edit]
Whhhyyy. Why did I forget to put some baby powder on my legs before I went running? Not a fun run but I did the first day of Couch to 5k. I'm a little off track doing it on a Thursday but I'm gonna go ahead and do day 2 on Saturday and then restart on next Tuesday. So I'll be doing T/T/S.
New Challenge for today as well:
This lady at work always brings candy in and leaves it in the cabinet for everyone to eat. I'm NOT going to eat some today.

So I guess I should catch up..
It's been a while since I've posted on this. I kind of forgot about it. I've been mostly good on Atkins with a couple of cheat days every now and then. But I've written down my goals on a piece of paper because I've heard if you have written goals you succeed more easily.
Here's my goals:
I want to feel that I look good.
I want to join the Army.
I want to actually do something with my life instead of just exist.
I want people to be proud of me.
I want to prove the doubters wrong.
And finally... I want a badass car. Don't get me wrong, I love my little baby truck but I want a 1950 Ford truck. I put this here because I can't buy a sweet car with the job I have. If I lose weight and join the Army, I could maybe afford something really nice.
Those are my longterm goals, but I have short term goals too.
I'm going to try to go the next week without cheating at all. I have a huge problem of cheating on my diet on my days off. It's usually because I don't feel like taking the time to make a meal. So I think on Friday when I have the time I'm going to make some salads so when my days off (Monday, Tuesday) come around I will have premade meals. Hopefully that will help.
I joined MyFitnessPal and I've been logging my food. I've been amazed and inspired by peoples' posts, especially in the Success Stories board. I saw one girl who lost somewhere near 90 pounds or so. Her motto was Challenge Yourself Everyday. I think that's a good motto and I'm going to try it.
My challenge today was a seemingly easy one. Try to be in a good mood all day at work. Today was my Monday and I'm usually grumpy when I go back to my crappy job. But I'm happy to report I was in a good mood all day. I just thought about losing my weight, the pros of my job, etc.
Alright, I'm getting off for now. Wish me luck people.
